A day In the sun

Give me a day in the sun

Don’t call me in ’til I’m done
Give me a day in the sun
I’d been rained on for so long

I want a hour of free time
Away from the dark
I want to lay in the sunshine
In the middle of a park

The moon and the stars
In all of its’ glory shining
Barely comes out at all
When the black comes bleeding

Give me a day in the sun
Please don’t keep me inside
Give me a day in the sun
Or I could just die
